40 series with fiber optic edited side by side

The compact, self-contained, PSC-40 series are digital, 2-wire loop powered IR temperature sensors with optional PSC spot software for adjustment of IR sensor parameters via a PC. Constructed of rugged stainless steel, the pyrometers offer several wavelength selections and wide temperature ranges which make them the ideal choice for industrial and OEM machine building applications.

Boasting temperature ranges from -4°F to 4532°F, these 2-wire pyrometers lend themselves to countless industrial applications including Induction heating, paper, steelmaking, glass, ceramics building materials, thermoforming, thick plastics, rubber, wood, kilns, food, dryers, ovens, furnaces medical apparatus and research & development.

The PSC-40 Series offers high quality performance and long term reliability, for use in harsh industrial environments, the rugged protective cooling jackets and air purge assemblies are rated for ambient temperatures up to 392°F (200°C), with a full range of electrical, mechanical and optical accessories available. A variety of fixed focus optics are featured and users may choose an optional or integrated laser aiming light to determine exact alignment to the measured target.

Easily integrated into existing measurement and control systems with a linear 4 to 20 mA output signal, the PSC Model 40 infrared thermometer series provide fast response times, small spot sizes and laser sighting for models PSC-S40 & PSC-G40 series.
