Green Laser for Visible Contrast on Hot Targets

The Fidelis F3 series is a short-wave 1-color pyrometer with temperature ranges from 50°C to 1800°C. Unlike many other IR temperature sensors, a green laser is used, enabling easy sighting on red hot targets. 32 of these pyrometers can be daisy chained. Offers a fast response time of 1ms, fixed focus optics, digital RS485 interface, and analog 0/4-20 mA outputs.

Overview

The Fidelis F3 pyrometer series is a fixed focus sensor designed to measure temperature in applications such as ceramics, kilns, induction heating, semiconductor wafers, and much more. Four fixed focus distances are available: 200mm, 500mm, 1000mm, and 3000mm. One advantage over others of its kind is its unique green laser sighting. As temperatures rises, materials such as metals glow red with heat. Most other sensors use red lasers, which makes visual sighting impossible. The F3 pyrometer's green laser however, stands out clearly over the hot target, making it easy to adjust and see. The F3 series is economically priced for its full featured capabilities. 

The infrared pyrometer comes with free communication and evaluation software. This software can create temperature graphs, change or save device settings, turn on / off the laser light, or compare up to 16 different measurement data files simunltaneously. Various accessories are avalible to further customize the sensor to the application environment. A water cooling jacket, for example, will ensure the pyrometer's stability in hot locations outside of the sensor's ambient temperature (70°C // 158°F).
