These compact digital sensors are specifically designed for accuracy and reliability in harsh industrial applications and in demanding laboratory applications. The PSC-SR55N Series’ 0/4 to 20mA output allows easy integration to existing measurement and control systems. IR sensors are programmable and set from the display menu or via the RS485 Modbus RTU connection to a PC.

Why Choose Industrial Pyrometers?

Industrial pyrometers are the ultimate solution for precise, non-contact temperature measurement in high-temperature environments, delivering unmatched reliability and efficiency for demanding applications. The main advantages are:

Non-Contact Temperature Measurement

Pyrometers provide precise temperature readings without requiring physical contact, ensuring safety and preserving the integrity of both the instrument and the material being measured, perfect for high-temperature processes like rotary kilns, cement kilns, and metal production.

Cost-Effective Temperature Monitoring

1-color pyrometers provide an affordable solution for accurate temperature measurement, perfect for processes where emissivity and environmental factors remain consistent, ensuring dependable performance.

Wide Temperature Range

Measure temperatures across a broad spectrum, from moderate to extreme, making pyrometers versatile tools for numerous industries.

Dual-Wavelength Technology

The 2-color pyrometer design ensures accurate readings, even in environments where emissivity fluctuates or when the target is partially obstructed.

Compact & Durable Desigh, Built for Harsh Environments

Pyrometers are compact, lightweight, and robust, engineered to perform reliably in extreme industrial settings such as furnaces, kilns, and metallurgical processes, making them ideal for challenging environments.

Fast Response Time

Quickly detect temperature changes with real-time data, ensuring smooth operations and consistent process control.

What are Two-Color Pyrometers?

2-color or Ratio Pyrometers use dual-wavelength technology to measure temperatures from the ratio of radiation signals of two adjacent wavelengths as opposed to measuring the absolute intensity within one wavelength, as with one-color pyrometers. The advantages of two-color sensors are the following:

Understanding Emissivity

Accurate temperature readings depend on understanding and adjusting for emissivity of materials. Our pyrometers make it easy to calculate emissivity for various surfaces, such as metals, ceramics, and even wood, ensuring precise measurements every time.
