The PSC-40 Series is a two-wired, loop-powered IR sensor with variable focus or fixed focus optics offering accurate temperature ranges from -40 to 2500°C. Also available with fiber optics. An optional programming cable with software allow for the adjustment of pyrometer parameters. The simplicity of the wiring and integration make it ideal for industrial applications including induction heating, steel making, glass, kilns, food, dryers, ovens, furnaces, medical apparatus and R&D.
The PSC-40 Series offers high quality performance and long term reliability for use in harsh industrial environments. The rugged protective cooling jackets and air purge assemblies are rated for ambient temperatures up to 200°C (392°F), with a full range of electrical, mechanical and optical accessories also available.
The PSC-S40 series provides accurate and reliable temperature measurement for a wide range of applications including:
Constructed of rugged stainless steel, the pyrometers offer several wavelength selections and wide temperature ranges which make them the ideal choice for industrial and OEM machine building applications, as well. A variety of fixed focus optics are featured and users may choose an optional or integrated laser aiming light to determine exact alignment to the measured target.
Easily integrated into existing measurement and control systems with a linear 4 to 20 mA output signal, the PSC Model 40 infrared thermometer series provide fast response times, small spot sizes, and the PSC-S40 & PSC-G40 models offer laser sighting. The self-contained PSC-40 Series of compact, digital, 2-wire loop powered IR temperature sensors are available with optional PSC spot software for adjustment of IR sensor parameters via a PC.
