Ideal for OEM applications and intended for temperature measurement on non-reflective materials from -20 to 500ºC, these low-cost, compact, self-contained and durable sensors are simple to install. Two-wired and loop-powered, these multipurpose sensors can be used for paper, gypsum board, plastics, asphalt, aggregates, etc.
The PSC-PC and PSC-PE are a series of high quality, low cost non-contact sensors measure the temperature of moving objects and low reflective materials. Loop-powered & self-contained, they are ideal for OEM applications & non-reflective metals. The IR sensors PSC-PE has an adjustable emissivity via remote signal and has a fixed emissivity at 0.95. All models share a temperature range starting from 0 to 500ºC.
Ideal for OEM applications, and intended for temperature measurement on non-reflective materials, these compact but durable sensors are super simple to install and operate. Applications include
Painted surfaces and organic materials are also mastered easily with these high-quality, low cost performers.
Compact and rugged, the PSC-PC and PSC-PE are constructed of stainless steel and have a full range of unique companion accessories for harsh installation conditions, sighting and mounting installation for reliable and accurate measurements. Their space saving design is easy-to-wire and simple to integrate into existing data acquisition systems.
Both the PSC-PC and the PSC-PE are available with a choice of three temperature ranges: Low temp. of -20 to 100°C, Mid temp. of 0 to 250°C, and High temp. of 0 to 500°C. Further enhancing their appeal is their ease of installation. Absolutely no complicated setup is necessary. Users simply connect a temperature indicator and power supply to instantly begin taking measurements.
Both simple sensor models operate in the 8 to 14µm spectral range, have a response time of 240ms, and provide two-wire Loop powered 4-20 mA linear output of the measured temperature. The PSC-PC has a fixed emissivity setting at 0.95 (for very dull surface materials), while the PSC-PE emissivity can be changed manually by the operator with the separate push-button PSC-Tune emissivity adjuster or continuously via a 4-20mA input to the IR sensor. This is used if the target being measured is slightly reflective.
