PSC-SSSi-LT Series
Ultra Small Sensor with high ambient rating
A low-cost, 1-color IR sensor. The PSC-SSSi-LT22 series is the next generation of industrial infrared temperature measurement technology. The sensor head of model PSC-SSSi-LT22 has an ambient temperature rating of 356°F and a modular design with exchangeable sensing heads. As one of the industry's smallest infrared sensors, it measures temperatures between -50°C to 1050°C (-58°F to 1922°F) with 22:1 or close focus optics. The electronics box has an on-board temperature display/menu which enables the adjustment of pyrometer parameters.
Overview
The PSC-SSSi is an improved version of our older PSC-SSS pyrometer line. The PSC-SSSi keeps the old version's small, compact sensor size while getting various upgrades on key features. Such as:
- Wider temperature range
- Better repeatability
- Faster sampling frequency for precise temperature tracking thanks to shorter loop time
- 3 I/O pins, freely progammable as input or output
- Built-in USB interface as standard. For production floor operation, a USB PC board is required to maintain an IP65 safety rating.
- Additional options: Ethernet/IP, profinet, ethernet TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, RS485, RS 232, or a relay interface PC board which connects to the motherboard.
